It is very difficult to describe in a few words, a region where the good life, the fine table arts and the exquisite wines are legendary.
The Languedoc is one of the most sunny regions in France and the "Domaine de Hauterive" is only a heartbeat away from the Mediterranean Sea (Bézier, Narbonne) the famous "Pays Cathare", Les Gorges du Tarn and the Pyrenees.
The South Canal and cities like Carcasonne, Toulouse, Albi et Gaillac and a number of typical small villages like Hautpoul (approximately 5 km from the domain), Lautrec (35 km du domaine), Cordes sur Ciel (90 km from the domaine), Rennes le Château et Rennes les Bains (120 km from the domaine) will give you a warm, southern welcome.
